I’m Tara - I’m a Senior Technical Business Analyst based in Hamilton.
I worked for Ignite, a Spark branded partner. We provide Technical and Professional services across the Bay of Plenty, Taranaki and Waikato.
I specialise in large programmes of work where I am often the lead. I also provide vCIO services to a charitable trust and some consulting for other clients.

What interests you?
Well, a lot! A huge interest is how technology, particularly digital capabilities, can fundamentally reshape an organisation’s operations, strategy, and competitive advantage.
I enjoy designing the blueprint for how technology supports and enhances business capabilities, going beyond mere requirements gathering to solution envisioning. I guess this stems from my previous career as an Infrastructure Architect.
I enjoy being asked to “consult on business improvement,” I have a strong interest in being a trusted advisor. This involves not just understanding problems but also guiding stakeholders through complex decisions, influencing strategy, and demonstrating the value of proposed changes. -

I love networking! I’m a huge supporter and I believe the world is screwed without BA’s.
Also, I am the APC Regional Chair of the new IIBA Cyber Specialist Interest group and I’d love to share what we are about and recruit some volunteers.
My interesting fact … I live in a Zoo.
I live in Hamilton Zoo, in the rainforest, and my nearest neighbours are two siamang gibbons.
