Kia ora my BA fellas,

My name is Owen Xu and I am based on Auckland, particularly North Shore and Rodney.
I have been a data and business analyst for over 5 years and now a Senior BA at NZX wealth technologies. I love doing BA because I really find it fulfilling when I could bring technical solutions to satisfy my clients&stakeholders’ very challenging and particular requirements and make their work ezier.

    Owen Xu, born and raised in China, lived in the States for 8 years and been living in Auckland since 2017.

  • What do you do
    I am a senior BA at NZX Wealth Technologies. I also run a startup company called brigen.ai that helps young generations to find jobs with AI’s help and build up their career aspirations.

    Army bay, Rodney, Auckland

  • What interests you
    BA work, working with fun people, data analytics, AI, public speaking and entrepreneurship.

    I have been playing golf for just 4 years and my handicap is 5.

Kia ora Owen! Welcome to the ACA! I know absolutely nothing about goal but it certainly sounds impressive!

And brigen.ai looks impressive! I’ve done a bit of work in the career data space – what datasets are you using to drive this? (Genuine question that you absolutely don’t have to answer if commercially sensitive :joy: !)

No worries at all if don’t know much about golf!

The Brigen.ai is mainly driven by the fact that young generations get so lost in their career planning and expectations so we aim to bring in GenAI to bridge the gap. We are not using any datasets specifically but we are going to extract insights from our users in future for sure!!
