Looking for mentoring inspo and resources

Kia ora BA whānau,

One of the best parts of stepping into a Senior BA role is getting to mentor another BA. I’m really enjoying it, and I want to set them (and others) up with resources that are actually useful in the real world.

So I’d love your help:

What resources, tools, or learning moments helped you level up early in your BA career?

Not just IIBA BABOK, but the stuff that made analysis, problem-framing, and stakeholder work click.

If you’re up for it, share:

  • A book/course/podcast that changed how you think

  • A template, checklist, or technique you still use

  • A way of working that improved your confidence (especially with ambiguity)

Bonus points if you can say why it helped, or the moment it started working for you.

Keen to learn from your wisdom. Ngā mihi nui.
